Statistics: Russian gold output rises 5.4% on year in September

MOSCOW, Oct 18 (PRIME) -- Russian gold bar production rose 5.4% on the year and fell 6.1% on the month in September, the Federal State Statistics Service said on Wednesday.

In January–September, gold bar production increased 8.1% on the year.

In 2016, Russia’s gold bar output fell 7.8%.

Previously, absolute figures on the production of non-ferrous metals were a state secret. The figures are no longer classified, but the government does not publish them.
